VirtualDoc is the Aga Khan Development Network eHealth Resource Centre's (AKDN eHRC) portal to manage physician-patient and physician-physician teleconsultations. A secure and customizable software solution, VirtualDoc acts as a platform for live and store-and-forward teleconsultations, diagnosis and second opinions. It retains patient medical history, allowing physicians to record, store, access and analyze patient data with utmost privacy and confidentiality.

AKDN eHRC supports the eHealth needs of the Aga Khan Development Network health agencies and their partner health institutions (governments and non-governmental organizations). AKDN eHRC employs information and communication technologies to support the development, implementation, and assessment of eHealth initiatives and activities of its clients primarily in South/Central Asia and East Africa.
